His creative vision has guided projects across feature films, television, and digital platforms, always with an eye toward blending timeless artistry with cutting-edge technology.
Trained in the golden era of modern animation, Daniel began his career at world-renowned studios such as Disney, DreamWorks, Hanna-Barbera, and Filmation. He played pivotal roles in shaping iconic works including The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Lion King, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Tarzan. His groundbreaking contribution to Tarzan was the co-development of Deep Canvas, a patented technology that revolutionized background painting in animation. The achievement earned Disney a Technical Achievement Academy Award and brought Daniel an Annie Award nomination, solidifying his reputation as a pioneer in visual storytelling.
As a director and creative consultant, Daniel’s artistry has extended to feature films such as Everyone’s Hero, Legends of Oz, 9, and 102 Dalmatians. His ability to move fluidly between creative and technical realms has made him a sought-after collaborator on international co-productions across North America, Europe, and Asia. Mark Sage
Mark Sage is a Founder, Producer, and Screenwriter whose career bridges leadership, technical expertise, and creative storytelling. A United States Navy veteran of the Vietnam Era, he built a strong foundation in project management and logistics, earning an internationally recognized Project Management Professional certification and a degree in data processing from American River College. His early career in the U.S. Air Force showcased his problem-solving skills, earning multiple awards for innovation, safety improvements, and cost savings, while managing multi-million-dollar programs with global impact.
Transitioning his leadership experience into the arts, Mark founded Generation Next Media, LLC and co-founded SageSmith Casting in Northern California. His work in casting and production supported independent films, corporate videos, and live presentations, giving him hands-on experience with the creative and organizational sides of filmmaking. He spent time in Los Angeles developing budgets, business plans, and industry connections for a sitcom project, relationships that remain valuable to his career today. Mark has also been active in performance, designing and writing puppet shows for over twenty years, and playing a key role in the Peery’s Egyptian Theater Puppet Festival in Ogden, Utah.
As a filmmaker, Mark has contributed to both acting and screenwriting. He appeared in Arbor Ridge Media’s film Scout’s Honor and has written the feature screenplay Beyond the River, which is currently in development along with its sequel. His passion for storytelling blends with his production and project management skills, enabling him to oversee both the creative and operational sides of bringing film projects to life. This balance of vision and discipline distinguishes him in the entertainment industry, where coordinating budgets, teams, and talent is as critical as the creative spark.
Beyond filmmaking, Mark continues to give back through community service and coaching. He is a USA Archery Level 4 Certified Coach, working with youth, veterans, and university programs, and has been recognized for his support of Paralympic and wounded warrior training initiatives.
